If you only have one day to spend in Wichita then be sure to visit the Oldtown area at some point in the day. The area is lively and vibrant with a host of restaurants, shops and entertainment venues worth visiting. Oldtown has plenty of history in its buildings but the current occupants provide good value for a visit too. Whilst the rest of the state of Kansas should take precedent during a visit to the area, there is still plenty to warrant spending a couple of days in Wichita including some great museums and park spaces as well as the vibrant Oldtown area. There are several restaurants in the downtown Wichita area. Vending machines are available in the break room on level B. The Court is unable to validate or waive parking citations. They are available on a first come first serve basis. The lot has 23 free parking spots available that will be marked as USDC (United States District Court). Cameras are allowed at naturalization proceedings. Contact the local clerk’s office for more information. The Court may grant permission to bring cameras in for ceremonial proceedings or court events. You will be required to return it to your car. The public may not bring cell phones, cameras, recording devices, or other electronic devices (such as MP3 players). Photography or audio/video recordings of court proceedings is strictly prohibited. Lawyers, including pro hac vice attorneys, who present photo identification and a current bar registration card from this or any other federal or state court may bring in electronic communication devices (see Local Rule 83.2.4). You must pass through courthouse security. You must show a photo ID to enter the courthouse.
